Guiris outside Barcelona adventure continues, greetings from Almería this week!

I know I am going to have many haters writing the blog in front of the sea with a cool breeze… I thought it would be very hot in south Spain those days but it turned quite refreshing, at night I even need to close the window!

The only thing about Almería is that you need a car to go from beach to beach and explore the coast. If you can do that, it´s one of the best places to be in summer, from Cabo de Gata all the coast to Agua Amarga you can find plenty of virgin beaches and amazing food places, all surrounded by a tranquil and hippie vibe, it´s paradise for me!

Back to our lovely Barcelona,  August is almost here and the amount of events around the city slowed down a bit since most of Barcelona´s inhabitants are somewhere else on holidays. However, don’t you worry my friend,  there are still a few very cool initiatives and festivals going on, let´s check them out 😉

MONDAY 25TH OF JULY | BACHCELONA

Great new for the classical music lovers in Barcelona with the Bach Music Festival in our “ciudad condal”.  There will be a bunch of concerts in different emblematic buildings around the city to fill our summer nights.

On Monday there will be three different options, by location and as non-expert in this kind of music I would go for the concert and visit to Palau Guëll to enjoy the show as well as this beautiful masterpiece from Gaudí.

Another festival to keep us going trough the hot summer nights in Barcelona. The San Miguel Mas I Mas Festival has been going on since 2003 using different venues and buildings to present a great variety of music concerts of all kind of styles.

FRIDAY 29TH OF JULY | BEER TASTING AT NAPAR BCN

Beer lovers we have the best plan for you this Friday! I have an American friend working in a brewery who would love going to an event this this, shame he is all the way to San Diego and I cannot convince him to come to Barcelona, he thinks he will be drinking larger all the time and suffers with the idea…

Last day of the month already, cannot believe how quick this summer is passing. I am loving every single moment of this period back in Spain, the beaches, terraces, outdoors music and activities. In Barcelona you can enjoy this kind of activities  during the whole year but in summer it feels quite better.

August is around the corner where we will keep working hard to show you the best and events going on around the city. We hope you like them! ☮ & ♥
