BARCELONA AGENDA 4.7.16-10.7.16
OPEN AIR WEEK
The city of Barcelona is always promoting cultural things to do around the city. July is a special month with the beginning of GREC Festival de Barcelona where we will be exposed to many shows related to music, art, theater, dance, circus and a few surprises. Some of them are outdoors which we love!
No worries, there are plenty of things happening in Barcelona apart from this festival, we know that you love being in the street during summer time in Barcelona so every plan for this week will be al fresco 😉
MONDAY 4TH OF JULY | SALA MONTJUIC
One of the best parts of GREC Barcelona Festival is happening every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Fossat de Santa Eulàlia (Castell de Montjuïc). They will be showing different movies with English and Spanish subtitles and we will be able to enjoy some live music as well.
On Monday the show comes by the hand of Jaume Vilaseca Quartet (jazz) and the film Nightcrawler, an American neo-noir crime thriller film written and directed by Dan Gilroy.

TUESDAY 5TH OF JULY | POCKET CONCERTS IN THE GARDENS OF THE TEATRE GREC
This Tuesday there is a free concert in the Gardens of the Teatre Grec, a beautiful space that you need to see in Barcelona.
It is a perfect occasion to get closer to Catalan culture and learn a bit more about their artist. The music won´t disappoint and will come by the hand of Nico Roig and Maria Monferrer, both song writers with beautiful and harmonic voices, with a special touch for Spanish guitar.
Starts at 8pm, don’t be late! More info here.
WEDNESDAY 6TH OF JULY | LUNCH AT FEED&FIT
Walking around Barcelona looking for new places for our events we found Feed&Fit and immediately loved it. They have an amazing terrace in Josep Tarradellas and a great philosophy.
The coffee shop was built by expert coaches who are passionate about sports and a healthy lifestyle. They serve a yummy (and affordable) menu every day. All the ingredients are fresh and put in the scale so you only have the amount that you need in your daily routine. You can buy some proteins and ingredients to improve your diet and get some advice in the shop.
Sergio, the person running the place is a personal coach so you can prepare some sessions with him or his staff when you visit the venue.

THURSDAY 7TTH OF JULY | REMEMBERLAND
I was wondering a few weeks ago if OBK (one of the main dance bands of the 90´s in Spain) where still alive. Well… they are and still looking damn good! I used to listen to this band when I was probably 8 years old, and had a crash on one of them . If I go there I will probably start yelling I LOVE YOU as if there is no tomorrow…
Even if the party seems a bit weird I think its a good plan to take advantage of Barcelona´s weather and of course, the pool party. They will be playing hits from the 80´s and 90´s, another good way to learn more about our gold days while having a “quiet” drink.

FRIDAY 8TH OF JULY | CRUILLA FESTIVAL 2016
I have seen the picture from this festival like 1000 times around Barcelona and it wasn´t until today that I stopped to check out the line up and its too good to be true!
It is a total shame that I already had tickets for BBK live 2016 (I will keep you updated with pictures on Facebook and Instagram, no worries). Of course, I am not going to cry but I am not totally sure which line up do I like better now…
Cruilla, on the other hand, is being super flexible with the tickets so you can buy the 3 days pass, only one day or even the night pass for only 25€! On Sunday the whole day it´s super cheap as well, you can check it out here.
SATURDAY 9TH OF JULY | FESTIVAL RED CULTURAL
Another Cultural Festival in Barcelona and we love it, this one comes with lots of activities from morning until night.
From my point of view the two best parts are at midday with the Vermut and concerts and from 8pm onward when music will be the protagonist. The workshops are focus on creativity, theater and poetry, where they will explore the emotions, mind, body and spiritual creativity.
Entrance is free, if you wish to attend the workshops you need to register on time. More info here!
