BARCELONA AGENDA 14.3.16-20.3.16

One more week we are bringing you the best alternative plans to do in Barcelona everyday of the week. You should take advantage of Barcelona’s vibe and enjoy the cultural offer this city is giving you. And the best thing is that lots of those plans are for free!

You are never too old to enjoy with this kind of things. We like to propose you fun and different things to do every day of the week but we think Monday is that day that needs special attention. We recommend you to put a bit of extra energy to the beginning of the week, take your camera and visit the Museum of Illusions in Barcelona.

Ah don’t forget that the menu includes the dessert as well!!

At the beginning it might sound a bit weird but we really think that you will enjoy this exhibition at the Museum of History of Cataluña.

Pl. de Pau Vila, 3 (Palau de Mar)

It reflects the journey around the concept of marriage and the different ways of love in different periods of humanity, showing the changes and transformations that happened from the classic movement until now.

The exhibition closes with nine love stories, three literary and six real, which represent the different aspects of love through history, from the classic love in Roman and Greeks to the actual way of seeing marriage, love and sex.

Happy St Patrick´s day to all our Irish Guiris in Barcelona! You guys need to know that Spanish people love Irish! You are more than welcome in this city and we wish you to have the happiest day celebrating your mother land!

The University of Barcelona organizes Els vespres d´Hivern, a serie of free concerts through the winter afternoons.

Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 585 Universitat de Barcelona Paranimf (1a planta, entrada pel vestíbul principal) Edifici Històric de la Universitat de Barcelona

The last concert comes to the hand of Ran Ran Ran, a catalan duet that will be playing soon at Primavera festival. We really like their music, they sound something between modern indie and old fashion that makes them quite unique. It´s a perfect opportunity to get more involved in the Catalan culture!

You can reserve your tickets here.

And listen to them before the concert so you can pretend you know the lyrics 😉

Guiris en Barcelona was borne very close to that place. I used to pass by and think that it was quite cool, always full of happy people and super sunny in spring and summer. Now it became one of my favorites places in Barcelona and it´s only 5 min walk from my house!

restaurant la mestressa

We always take our friends there when they come to see Barcelona since it’s a very characteristic spot, food is quite good depending of the bar that you choose and same with the service.

A Catalan friend always recommend La Mestressa, I went the other day and absolutely loved it! The menu is quite simple but food is delicious and if you are sharing its quite cheap as well!
