BARCELONA AGENDA 07.3.16-13.3.16
I am sure you are looking for things to do in Barcelona in March. We have the perfect selection of fun things to do in Barcelona everyday of the week every week! We hope you like it!
MONDAY 7.3.16 | FILMOTECA DE CATALUNYA
Monday is the day we will dedicate to film lovers. As we love cultural stuff and free things we have the perfect proposal for your Monday afternoon in Barcelona with the Rovira Beleta exhibition at Filmoteca de Catalunya!
Plaça de Salvador Seguí, 1, 08001
Francisco Rovira Beleta was a Spanish screen writer and film director whose movies were nominated to several international prizes. All his work was highly influenced by the political and social situation in Spain. He had to deal as well with the censorship from the Government, for that reason his movies were never “complete”. Now Filmoteca de Catalunya is showing you a bigger picture of his work and life.
TUESDAY 8.3.16 | AFTER WORK VEGANO
I have been to a few after-works around the city and didn’t really enjoy them… they are mostly too posh to my taste, people are quite serious and drinks usually expensive so this is why I didn’t recommend any yet. Until I found out about the After Work Vegano!
Pl/ Fossar de les Moreres, 08003 (6pm-9pm)
Vegetalia is a project born in 2007 where the owners decided to grow their own organic vegetable garden outside Barcelona and serve the goods directly to you through their three restaurants in the city. The after work in the Gothic Quarter includes free tapas with your drink and life music. Can you ask anything else to a Tuesday?
WEDNESDAY 9.3.16 | TAXI TEATRO CONDAL
Josema Yuste and Felisuco are two great Spanish comedians brought together to represent Taxi, the most successful comedy from Ray Cooney.
Av. del Paraŀlel, 91, 08004 (8.30pm)
Taxi first show goes back to 1983 and after 12 years of performance non-stop in West London, traveled all around the world and being translated into more than 35 languages is arriving to Barcelona. This play is only for the braves since it will be fully in Spanish, perfect challenge to see how good you are getting at it! Now you have a plan for your Wednesday afternoon in Barcelona!
THURSDAY 10.3.16 | BURGER AT LA CENTRAL
Those are the yummiest burgers that I have ever tried in my life! They are huge pieces of heaven which I am never able to finish but pay gladly!
The venue is super cool, with a touch off hipster style and very friendly staff. What is the secret to have the best burgers in town? Easy! Their hamburgers are 100% beef, ecologic or Black Angus beef, accompanied by bread freshly baked every morning and products from the local market. My mouth is melting right now…
Via Laietana, 45, 08003
You can have your burger with rustic potatoes, purple chips or chicken nuggets (probably this last option is way too much!). They, of course, have vegetarian options and a wide variety of artisan beer. Did I already tell you that I love this place?
Psss…if you prefer to stay comfy at home on your Thursday afternoon and enjoy 10€ discount follow this link.
FRIDAY 11.3.16 | MUERDO SALA BIKINI
When you are very close to the thirties making plans for Friday night even in Barcelona it´s a difficult decision. After a hard week at work all I want to do is going home and sleep forever. But, let´s be realistic, that´s a looser plan! Instead I propose you to enjoy the music of Muerdo, he is very talented and chill and I’m sure you will have a great time!
L’Illia, Avinguda Diagonal, 547
Muerdo (bite) who´s last album was recorded in Barcelona is a Spanish songwriter and singer with a special touch. His songs speak about different social situations always full of humanity and rhythm, all perfectly mixed with Latin, Spanish and modern rithms.
More info about the concert and Tickets here.
SATURDAY 12.3.16 | ART LOVER GROUND
This is the event we were waiting for! The founder of Art Lover Ground, Federica Desantis, started the project in London and we are glad that she moved to Barcelona a few months ago so we can enjoy this event here. The Barcelona project is starting off this Saturday and they count with numerous artist and performances.
During the ALG events artists (including photographers, painters, body painters, illustrators, DJs, musicians and so on) will show their talent in live-art-performances and exhibitions. Join us for a great party full of music, humor, performances and ART!
Guiris en Barcelona will be there supporting the even and will love to meet you there!!
SUNDAY 13.10.16 | BRUNCHMUT & KLAUSS DJ
Finally Sunday! That lazy day of the week were you should do absolutely nothing apart from enjoying yourself, family and friends. As usual, we have the perfect plan for you!
If you haven’t been to Casa Gracia probably its better because you will fall in love with the place and will want to go back every week! (If your wallet allows it). For the rest of human beings I recommend going this Sunday to their brunchmut, yes, a perfect mix between Brunch (tipical Guiri) and Vermut (tipical Catalan). Your time there will be enlivened with music from their house DJ Klauss.
We hope you liked this week agenda! Follow us and don´t be shy! ☮ & ♥
