MONDAY 13TH OF NOVEMBER | CONTEMPORARY CINEMA
Gèneres i hibridacions entre la ficció i el documental
During this Monday’s session at Biblioteca Sant Gervasi – Joan Maragall and at the hands of their new collaborators Zumzeig Cinema, Biblicurts, a short movies festival taking place from the 20th of November until the 1st of December at the same library, will analyze different cinematographic fragments to get closer to the contemporary language of the audiovisual world.
This is the last conference of the 3 part cycle – “Tabula Rasa: rereadings of the cinematographic language” with the hope of bringing experimental cinema to all audiences. During the talk, M. Marti Freixas, film critic, teacher and programmer of the Zumzeig Cinecooperativa talks about the problem of dividing cinema into categories, and will explain through several images taken from different films the proliferation and diversity of audiovisual practices and how this has made borders merge amongst cinema, making it increasingly more difficult to define categories.
Cinema lovers, this is the event of the week for you!
