Antic Cinema – “Ida”

It´s not the first time we came across the cinema sessions from Antic Teatre but didn´t find the spot to include them. Finally we had the chance recently to chat with them and at this event there is much more than what meets the eye.

Antic Teatre is a Cultural and Social independent center in a placement built in 1650 and included as part of the Architecture and historic heritage of the city. Situated between Santa Caterina Market and El Palau de la Música what characterizes this building is its singular gardens and its great history.

Two Mondays per month they team up with Film2 Media Works in this initiative that brings cinema anywhere with a projector, internet connection and a public willing to enjoy the seventh art. The 5€ ticket that you can get only online goes to the screener, the producer of the movie, copywriters and Film2.

This Monday we will enjoy Ida, a polish movie about a young woman on the verge of taking vows as a Catholic nun by Pawel Pawlikowski, 2013.
